To start things off, can you introduce yourself to the readers?

My name is Rob Ceus and I am 41 years old. I live in Belgium and Iím a director, special fx make up artist among many other things

How did you get your start in the film industry?

I started out doing some special fx make up for other people and then I decided to make some films myself. We started out with BrideZombie in 2015 which was our first short we worked on

Can you tell us anything about the movie Dismembered?

Dismembered is a part of a trilogy called House of The Rotting Flesh
Itís the 2nd act to the trilogy.

Itís about a deranged psychiatrist who is meddling with the forces of the occult to open up a portal to The Outer Worlds

How did you come up with the idea for your film ?

I like to do hommages to other films from the 80ís and 90ís mostly and for Dismembered we took our inspiration from Clive Barker and Lovecraftian influences

Can you tell us more about your upcoming project(s)?

For the moment I am working on some music videos for bands but I am planning to shoot the third act to House of The Rotting Flesh as soon as I get the desired budget together. Iím also working on a script for the movie The Roach

What do you consider to be the strongest element of your work?

I think that would be the gore and the special fx

Can you tell us about the greatest moment in your film career?

I sold 100 copies of my shortfilm Slime in 24 hours and my films getting shown at filmfestivals

Do you think you've changed as an Director/Producer since you first started?

Yeah I think so, weíve learned a lot along the way already

What advice would you give to someone wanting to try a career in Director/Producer?

I would have to say try filmschool cause youíll get more opportunities on the market and if you canít join a filmschool I would say just try and make a film, just do it

If you could work with any Director/Producer who would they be and why?

Cronenberg, Chris Walas, John Carpenter, Joe Castro and Brian Paulin and others like Dan o Bannon and Brian Yuzna because I admire their work and some of them have become good friends

Return of The Living Dead

What is the last horror film you saw? What did you think of it?

The Bliss from Joe Begos. I liked it a lot, Iím planning on getting more films by this director
